The Ü-Tsang hat is knitted with natural brown and cream hand spun 100% yak down yarn. As one of the three traditional regions of Tibet, the Ü-Tsang དབུས་གཙང་ (or central) region is located in the middle and west of the Tibetan world. The Ü-Tsang region is home to Lhasa and is the heartland of Tibet. The language of Lhasa is the lingua-franca of the Tibetan world.
